| DESCRIPTION: A Chinese export cinnabar box dating from 1900 – 1920 with a nicely carved scene of scholars and a maiden in a garden setting with rock outcroppings. The interior is covered with black lacquer and the age can be seen in the crazing. On the bottom the word “CHINA” has been hand etched into the surface.
