| DESCRIPTION: For the mingei lovers among us, we have this absolutely luscious Japanese burl display platform (or slab), crafted to maximize the beauty of the natural burl grain and form. Fashioned from a stunning piece of burled keyaki wood (shizen-boku), the beautiful gain undulates and swirls over the entire surface. Dating from the late Meiji to early Taisho-period (early 1900's), this stand would have been used in the display of ikebana arrangements or as a tray for various prized objects.
