| DESCRIPTION: A tall Japanese Satsuma vase with rounded shoulders and wide mouth featuring officials and dignitaries in elaborate brocade robes with boy attendants. The faces are finely painted and there is a good bit of raised gilt decoration. Dating to the mid to early 20th C., the vase is unsigned with slight rubbing to the silver gilt around the rim, but otherwise excellent condition.
