| DESCRIPTION: A pair of very large and quite fabulous Victorian black lacquer papier-mache Chinoiserie trays in fluted rectangular form, with graceful scalloped, raised edges and skillfully executed gilt floral wisteria designs. These are companion listings to our similar trays, BPB189 and BPB190, all shown together in the last photo, and would make absolutely stunning display pieces on top of cabinets or mounted on a wall. Mid 19th C. with a lovely, aged crackled finish to the lacquer; chip on one edge to each as shown in photos. Trays may be bought individually or as a set.
