| DESCRIPTION: A Chinese glass snuff bottle in flattened rectangular form with sloping shoulders, delicately painted from the inside on both sides with young maidens in flowing robes. Both are shown standing under trees in a garden setting with a Chinese inscription to their left on each side. Judging from their poses and dress, I would estimate this bottle to be first half of the 20th C., 1900 – 1945. Excellent condition with celadon colored jade top. DIMENSIONS: 3” high x 1 ½” wide.
