Very Large, Signed Japanese Bronze Brazier, Meiji BB70DESCRIPTION: A large Japanese bronze brazier (or censer) of round globular form with pierced fitted cover, Meiji Period c. 1868-1912. The domed pierced lid forms a diaper pattern and dragon-form handles are mounted on the sides, wrapped with leather strips. An attractive golden color, it is signed on its base by the maker.
