DESCRIPTION: Originating from the Fongxian area of Shangxi Province is this magnificent and rare Tang Dynasty (618-906 A.D.) pottery horse. This dynamic unglazed horse has its powerful neck gracefully turned with head lowered, ears pricked and teeth bared. DESCRIPTION: A magnificent pottery figure of a long-legged camel with removable saddle and foreign rider, originating from Shanxi Province and T.L. tested to the early Tang Dynasty, c. 625 A.D. DESCRIPTION: Squatting on two short legs and a full belly is this very compelling late Tang (c. 800 – 900 AD) water dropper in the form of a mythical bird. With a fat body, small wings, and short thick tail, this creature poses with its mouth wide open, like a chick waiting to be fed.
